Gloria Irene Allison Ladd, of Gainesville Georgia, passed away peacefully at home on September 20, 2026, at the age of 79.

Gloria was born on January 20, 1947, in Gainesville to Charlie and Burnice Allison. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend whose kindness and love for her family touched the lives of all who knew her.

Gloria built a life centered around family and faith. She will be remembered for her caring heart and many ways she showed love to others. Gloria enjoyed watching game shows, basketball, and spending time with everyone.

She is survived by her children Greg (Mikaela) Ladd, Glenn (Shelly) Ladd, Angela (Jon) Nicholson, and Jason (Katie) Ladd. Grandchildren Caleb Ladd, Chelsea Ladd, Jay Dailey, Amber Ladd, Madison Ladd, Braxton Nicholson, Brenton Nicholson, Jordan Ladd, Haylen Ladd, Ireland Ladd, and spouses. Seven great grandchildren. Brothers Junior Allison, Phillip (Vicky) Allison, Stanley (Delores) Allison. Brother in law and sister in law Ronnie and Louise Scroggs. Special loved ones Elaine Smith and Mary Morris. A number of nieces and nephews and her loving dog Lil Bit also survive.

Gloria is preceded in death by her parents and husband Everett Ladd.

Memorial services will be held Sunday September 27, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. in the chapel of Mason Funeral Home. Rev. James Kanaday will officiate. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until the funeral hour Sunday at the funeral home.
